Create an online course using ClickFunnels 2.0

  1. Click Sites and Funnels
  2. Choose Courses.
  3. Click on New Course.
  1. Choose a course structure.
Note: For this example, let’s choose a blank course.
You will then be directed to enter the course details.

  1. Enter the title, description URL, theme and thumbnail image of your course.
  1. Click on Create Course.

After creating your course, your dashboard will appear.

View the Preview

You can preview your course by clicking on the Preview button or the eye icon located next to the course name.

Duplicate

Duplicate the entire course by clicking the duplicate button.

Add new products to your course.

Add Modules, Submodules and Lessons to a ClickFunnels 2.0 Course

You can create your course using modules, submodules and lessons under the Modules tab of your dashboard. Then, you can upload audio and video content to your lesson.

Follow these steps to do this:

  1. Find your course, and click on the dashboard for that course.
  2. Click on Add New Module.
  1. Enter the Module Name, Description and Path.
  1. Click on Create Module.

After you have created your module it will appear in your Modules section.

By hovering over the module, you can edit its content, change the settings and preview it.

The settings will be the same, whether you are creating a submodule or lesson.

  • Clicking on Edit Content will bring up your page editor. Next, we will examine this.
  • Edit Settings – You can edit the title, description and thumbnail image. Also, you will be able to change your publishing status, template, style and style. You can delete the module.
  • Click here to view the module.
  • Add Content: Click Here to Add a Lesson, or Submodule.
  • Status – Select whether the module will be published, drip-fed to students or locked using the dropdown menu.

How to Add Content to your ClickFunnels Lesson Page

  1. Open the individual dashboard for each course.
  2. Click Edit content by hovering over the page.

You will be able to open the lesson you selected in your page editor.

This lesson can only be edited. You cannot update the lesson template from this page.

  1. Scroll down and click on the content box.
  2. Click on Add New Section.
  1. This box allows you to add your section, row, and elements.
  2. Create a section that suits your needs.
You can include images, videos and paragraphs. Links, buttons, buttons, links to podcasts and more.
You can use this to complement any audio or video you have uploaded.

  1. Click on Save.

How to Customize your ClickFunnels 2.0 course

You can personalize your course homepage, module page and lesson page.

Click Customize at the top-right corner of your dashboard to edit them all.

The information between the brackets and, as well as the images of the courses, are updated dynamically on all pages.

Your course will have a uniform look, as each lesson is the same.

Each lesson’s content will be updated dynamically.

  1. Click Templates, then Default Lesson Pages.

This section will show the content that you have added to each lesson. This section must be on the page in order for your content appear.

How to Enroll Users in ClickFunnels 2.0 Classes

You can enroll contacts in several different ways. You can manually enroll someone, after they have purchased a product or via a Workflow.

How to manually enroll contacts for ClickFunnels v2.0 courses

You can enroll people manually in a course two different ways: either through bulk enrollment, or individually.


Individual Enrollment

  1. Click Contacts.
  2. You can find the person you wish to enroll with in the course by searching for them.
  3. Click on the name to contact the person.
  4. Click the tab “Enrollments” in the sidebar.
  5. Select Manage Enrollments.
  1. Click Add Enrollments.
  2. Choose the course that you wish to enroll your contact in.
You can enroll students only in certain modules.
  1. Click on Save.
You can also add notes here. You can add notes.


Bulk Enrollment

  1. Click Contacts.
  2. You can enroll the contact you wish to in the course.
  3. Select the checkboxes next to the contact names you wish to enroll.
  4. Click the Actions dropdown box.
  5. Select Create Enrollment.
  1. Select the course that you would like to enroll your contacts.
  2. Select an enrollment date.
  3. Click on Save.

How to Enroll in ClickFunnels 2.0 courses through a Product Purchase

  1. Open Products
  2. Select the product that you wish to add a course to.
  3. Click on the product name.
  4. Scroll down and click on the Purchase Actions.
  5. Click on Course Access.
  1. Choose the courses and modules that you would like users to have access to after purchasing a product.
  2. Click on Update Product.
Please note that when a customer buys this product, he or she will be automatically granted access to it.

ClickFunnels will automatically remove access to the course if the customer receives a refund or cancels the purchase.

How to Enroll in ClickFunnels 2.0 courses through a workflow

  1. Click on Marketing, then Workflows.
  2. Add a new Workflow.
  3. Choose the Run Type and name your Workflow.
  4. Set the trigger.

This is what needs to occur for the user to enroll in the course. This could be an order that was successful, etc.

  1. Click the + button below the trigger, and then select Enroll.
  1. Select the course that you wish to enroll users in.
  2. Click on Create Step.
These enrollments are not directly tied to a purchase. The customer will be enrolled even if they cancel or refund their order.

How to Add a Course Element to the ClickFunnels Customer Center 2.0

You must have created your course before you can add it to the Customer Center.

Customers who have access will be able view the course in the customer center.

  1. Click Sites & Funnels
  2. Select Customer Center.
  3. Click Customize.

You will be taken to your page editor.

You need to add the course elements to the page in order to make your courses visible to people who have bought them.

This might be already present on your page, depending on what template you are using.

Follow these steps if you want to add any of these elements.

  1. Click Add Element.
  2. Choose Collection and then Course.
  1. Select the number of columns that you want to add to your collection element.
  2. Click Add New Element inside the box.
  1. Find the course section.
  2. Here you can add the information that you wish to display. Add the following information:
  • Name
  • Image
  • Link
  1. Click on Save.

Once a customer clicks on the link for the course in their customer center, they are directed to the Course Home Page you customized.
