ClickFunnels allows you to set up a blog. You can publish articles and create content on your blog in order to share your expertise with your visitors.

The Page Editor allows you to customize the home page of your blog, the categories page and the articles page on ClickFunnels 2.

How to Create a Blog in ClickFunnels 2.0

You don’t need to create a blog when you sign up for a ClickFunnels account 2.0.

Open the Blog tab in Sites and Funnels to start publishing your blog. You can create your first blog post by selecting New Blog Post.

You can publish your blog posts to users after you have created them.

ClickFunnels 2.0 Blog Dashboard

Click Sites and Funnels to open the blog dashboard. Choose Blog.

You can edit and preview your blog on the main page. You can add a blog post, as well as view and edit existing articles.

There are four buttons along the top bar:

Blog Name

Enter your new blog title by clicking the name of your current blog.

Customize

Click here to customize the blog homepage, blog categories and blog posts page.

Clicking on it will bring up the editor.

In the next section, we will show you how to customize the pages using the page editor.

  • Blog Information – These are general settings and information regarding your blog.

    • Name – The name of your blog.
    • Current Path – Blog pathway.
    • Style – Blog style.
    • Template Page – Select a template.

    The default settings are SEO and social sharing. The blog settings will be overridden if you alter the sharing and SEO settings for a specific blog post.

    • Default blog title – Enter a title for your blog that does not include the branding or domain.
    • Description of the blog.
    • Default Sharing Image – Add a default sharing image.
  • Create categories to add your blog entries. Use categories to group articles that are similar together. This will help your customers to find the content they need.
  • Use tags to organize your content. Tags can only be seen by you and the administrators of your website.
  • Authors – Add authors to your blog post.

View Blog

The next button is this. Click here to view your blog.

New Blog Post

Click here to start a new post.

You will then be asked to enter the following details:

  • Title – Name your blog post.
  • Add a summary to your blog.
  • Featured Image: Add an image as a featured picture to your blog. This image will also serve as your thumbnail.
  • When you add SEO or sharing information to a blog post, the information will be overwritten.

    • SEO Page Title: Add a title.
    • SEO Page Description – Add a description.
    • Add the current path to the list.
  • Author – Enter the name of an author to add to your blog or click on the blue + to add a brand new author.
  • Use the blue + button to add a category or type in an existing one to add to your post.
  • Tags – Type in the name of a tag.
  • Advanced Settings

    • Style – Select the blog style.
    • Template Page – Select a page template.
  • You can choose where to publish your blog.

    • Public – Select this option to make your post public.
    • Draft – Save the blog post in draft form until you’re ready to publish it.
You can also create a draft blog post. Add your content and customize it. When you are ready to publish, go back to the Blog Dashboard, find the post, and change the visibility to Public.

Blog Posts

You can sort and filter your posts by clicking on the four buttons.

Your blog posts are visible by clicking on the first three tabs: All, Draft and Public. Click on the tabs to see All of your blog posts (including drafts), Public posts (including drafts) or Drafts only.

Use the search bar to locate a blog post by its name.

The search bar has two buttons. There are two buttons next to the search bar: Filter and Sort. Sort and filter your blog to find what you are looking for.

You can see a list below of all your blog entries based on filters that you have set. The name, author and last updated date of the blog post can be seen.

Three buttons are included.

  • Open in a New Window – This will give you a preview for your blog post.
  • Duplicate: Click here to duplicate this post.
  • Edit – Click Here to edit blog settings.

You will be taken to the same screen as you would have seen when creating the post. You can also choose from a few additional options. There are three buttons below the title.

    • Click here to view the preview of this blog post.
    • Share Post – Click here to view the blog as a client. The URL can be copied and shared.
    • Duplicate Post: Click here to duplicate a post.

There is a button on the bottom of the webpage that allows you to choose from these three options.

    • Delete blog post – Click on the red button to remove your blog.

How to Customize your ClickFunnels 2.0 blog

You can customize your blog’s home page, categories page and post pages on ClickFunnels 2.

Click Sites and Funnels to edit them all. Select Blog. Then, click Customize.

The blog images and information between the brackets are updated dynamically.

By clicking Customize, you will be taken to your blog’s home page.

  1. Page Editor: Customize your page.
  2. Click on Save.

How to Customize the ClickFunnels 2.0 Category Page

  1. Choose Blog Category in the menu.
  2. Page Editor: Customize your page.
  3. Click on Save.

How To Customize Your ClickFunnels 2.0 Blog Post Page

Each blog page will have the same look, giving your blog an integrated look.

Each blog post’s content will be updated dynamically.

  1. Click Templates
  2. Select Blog Post Default.

Content you add will be displayed in the section Dynamically Replaced. This section must be added to your post for it to appear.

  1. Page Editor: Customize your page.
  2. Click on Save.

The next section will show you how to add dynamically replaced content.

How to Add Content to Your Blog Post on ClickFunnels 2.0

  1. Find your blog post on the dashboard once you have created it.
  2. Click on the name of the blogpost.

The page editor will be opened.

You won’t be allowed to edit the template of a blog post from this page.

The template of the blog post is the same as we saw in the section before.

All your blog pages will look the same.

Here you can only add new content to your blog.

  1. Click on the box to view content.
  2. Add New Section
  3. Add a Section or Row and then select your Elements.
  4. Create a section that suits your needs.
You can include images, videos and lists in your blog posts.
  1. Add or copy your blog posts.
