You can connect a custom URL to ClickFunnels 2.0 in two different ways: manually or automatically.

The Entri tool for integration must be used by users to check if the domain they are using is eligible for automatic connection.

How to connect a ClickFunnels 2.1 domain with Entri using the automated method

Here are the steps to connect your domain if you have identified that Entri supports it.

  1. ClickFunnels Dashboard 2.0:
  2. Select Site & Funnels on the left-hand elements.
  3. Select “Domains” from the list.
  4. Click “Connect existing domain.”
  1. Enter your domain in the box.

  1. Click “Add Domain” when the domain provider appears in the box.
  1. Select “Start Domain Configuration” to begin.
Note! Below is a toggle which allows you to enable the domain redirection with or without subdomain. ClickFunnels recommends you do this.
  1. The Entri software will appear in a pop-up window, connecting the domain with ClickFunnels. Click “Continue”, after reading the text.
  1. A second pop-up will appear asking you to authorize your domain provider. Click “Authorize”.
  1. You’ll find the DNS records on this page. Click “Authorize” after reviewing the DNS records.
  1. Select “Done” to complete the connection.
  1. Now that your custom domain is connected, the status will be green.
It is important to note that the status of a custom domain may appear as “Securing” for a few hours.

How to manually connect a ClickFunnels 2.x domain

Follow these steps if Entri doesn’t support your domain to connect manually.

  1. Select “Domains” from your dashboard.
  2. Click “Connect Existing Domain” to connect your domain.
  1. Enter your domain name in the textbox.
  1. Click “Add Domain” when the information about the domain provider appears in the second field.
  1. Click on the blue “Click here” text.
  1. Click on “Show DNS Table”.

  1. Now you’ll need to copy all the data under the “Data Column”.
  1. ClickFunnels 2.0 can be connected to your domain by going to the website of your custom domain provider and selecting the domain.
  2. The TXT files should be able to be altered.
  3. Once you have copied the data, paste it into the box.
  4. Click “Save All Changes”, then “Complete” after clicking “Save All Changes”, to confirm your record changes.
  1. Click the “Validate Ownership button” in ClickFunnels’ 2.0 domain section.
It can take 48 hours or more for your custom domain name to be connected to ClickFunnels. Before you move on to the next steps, the status must change to “Securing.”
  1. Select “Show DNS table” once “Securing” appears.
  1. You’ll have to add more records to the website of your custom domain provider.
  1. Enter the information into your list of custom domain providers.

  1. When the process is complete, you will see “Connected”, under your custom domain name.
Click “Check Connection” if the status does NOT show “Connected.”
