Your customers will receive content that is relevant if you add your emails into categories. These categories are known as Topics. Contacts can see the Topics.
How to edit the General Settings
- Click Marketing.
- Select Marketing Settings.
You can find all the settings here.
General Settings is the first tab.
You can change a lot of things here.
- Contact Marketing This is the email address that appears at the bottom of every message you send.
- Unsubscribe Footer — Every email must contain an unsubscribe link. The recipient can then manage their email preferences, or unsubscribe from your list. This section allows you to change the text of your unsubscribe buttons.
- Hide “Powered by ClickFunnels” Branding– You can toggle this on or off to hide the badge.
- Company email address Here you can edit both the From and Respond To email addresses. The From email address must have a customized domain that you own. You can leave the Reply To email blank and it will default your From email address. Or you can add an alternative email address.
By navigating to Email Addresses, you can add any email addresses that you wish to use.
- Click Save after editing the settings.
How to add email addresses
- Click Marketing.
- Select Marketing Settings.
- Choose the Email Addresses Tab.
You can enter email addresses here, and in the General Settings you can select which email address is used to send emails and which customer replies.
- Click on Add Email Address.
- Add the Email Address and the Nickname.
- Click on Add Email Address.
After adding your email address you can return to the General Settings page and edit both the From Address (the default) and Reply To Address (the alternative).
How to create a topic
- Click Marketing.
- Select Marketing Settings.
- Choose the Topics tab.
- Click on Create Topic.
- Add the topic name and description.
- Click on Create Topic.
Now, your Topic will appear in the list. You can edit your Topic’s settings by clicking the cog icon.
How to Create a Email Broadcast in ClickFunnels 2.0
- Click Marketing.
- Select Broadcasts.
- Click Create Broadcast.
- Select a template, or click Start Blank.
In this example we will select the Order Confirmation Template.
The page editor will be opened once you have selected your template, or ClickFunnels opens the Start from Blank option.
The page editor allows you to change the title, images and buttons as well as many other features.
- You can edit your Broadcast using the sidebar. Click on an element to make changes.
- Click Save and Exit once you have made your changes.
- To leave the editor, click the arrow at the top-left corner.
You will be able to access your Broadcasting settings.
- Broadcast name– Give the broadcast a name so you can easily identify it.
- Broadcast topic Select the Broadcast Topic. This field is optional.
- Send to Select the recipient you wish to send this Broadcast.
- From: Select the email address that sends out the message. Select one of the emails you have added in the Marketing Settings tab.
- Subject Line Add the subject for the email.
- Preheader — Add the text the recipient will see below the subject line in the preview of the email.
- Sending options– Select when you wish to send the Broadcast.
- Edit the Broadcast settings.
- Click on Schedule Broadcast.
You will now be able see a summary of the Broadcast. It will display how the Broadcast performs, including who opened the email and deliverability.
